Description: This is an original 8.5" decorative Jewish-themed ceramic wall plate with "Shalom" and a floral border on the front and "Jerusalem" on the back. Two holes on the back allow for a wire to hang the plate on a wall. The graphics appear to be hand painted and then finished with a glaze. Overall, the plate being offered is in fair/good condition. It does have some flaws, including a small chip (1/4" X 1/4") on the underside and a much smaller chip on the edge; both chips are close together and are highlighted in my final photo. There is also crazing over the entire surface. In my photos, the crazing lines have brown color around them after I washed the plate, but this color disappeared in a few hours. Imperfections inherent to the production process also exist, including several particles trapped under the glaze, several pinpoint-sized "fleabite" depressions in the glaze, some rough patches in the glaze, and some random tiny paint spots.
