From 1981 to 1989 Joan Collins starred as Alexis Colby in the soap opera Dynasty which made her an international superstar. The first American edition of her autobiography, Past Imperfect, was published in 1984. The hardcover book is in excellent condition. Dottie signed and dated the book 5/30/84 and wrote “Houston, Tex. Windmill Dinner Theatre.” As of August 2023, Joan Collins is 90 years old, and if she were still alive Dottie West would also be 90. Both ladies both showed America in the 1980’s that a woman could still be sexy and beautiful in her 50’s. Proceeds from the sale of this item will benefit the Music Health Alliance.
