Anhang zu Vier Buchern, 2. Paradis-Gartlein, and 3. Anhang zu Paradis-Gartlein - Therefore, I have deduced that the first section of the book (in which 288 pages are missing), is "Vier Buchern" - In conclusion, this book features "Vier Buchern (with 288 pages missing)," "Anhang zu Vier Buchern," "Paradis-Gartlein," and "Anhang zu Paradis-Gartlein" - These works are otherwise known as "Four Books of True Christianity" and "Garden of Paradise" - There are also pages missing from the end of "Anhang zu Paradis-Gartlein" The pages are bound together by what appears to be 6 lines of string Published "Halle im Waisenhause" - Both "Anhangs" are dated 1743, whereas the "Paradis-Gartlein" is dated 1779 - Because of this, and the overall old style of German Fraktur writing, I am dating this book at circa 1779 - I assume that this book was published in Germany, but I am not completely sure Johann Arndt, German Luthern Theologian, was the author of "Vier Buchern" and "Paradis-Gartlein" - However, I am not sure if he wrote the attachments or not 6 7/8" Tall x 4 1/8" Wide x 2" Thick Below are the German and English translations of all table of contents pages in order...
