This book was owned by Robert Augustus Dalzell (1838-1869), an army officer and son of the 10th Earl of Carnwath (Peerage of Scotland), and gifted by his student Thomas James Seale. Dalzell was slated to assume his father's role and become the 11th Earl of Carnwath but died before he could assume the title. There are no markings inside the book besides the gift dedication pictured. International shipping is available. This leather-bound copy has wear as pictured.
