Description: Framed and matted watercolor. John Cuthbert Hare, b. 1908 - d. 1978. Noted more for his New England dockside and marine watercolors. Visible image measures 14-5/8" tall by 21-1/2" wide. Frame measures 24-1/2" tall by 30-1/2" wide. Frame has a few nicks and some of the gold leaf is rubbed off of the upper cross piece as shown. Back has some water damage on the dust protector but that does not appear to have seeped through to the picture - at least not the visible part of the picture. Picture is laying perfectly flat with no wave or wrinkles. Picture has not been examined outside of the frame. Local pick up is available.Returns accepted. Please look at all of the pictures carefully, using zoom where you can. If there's a certain area of the picture you would like a better picture of I'm glad to help.
