Description: Hello, this is a Jordanian Palestinian (maybe Bedouin?) dress/kaftan/jillayeh that I bought on a whim while visiting Jordan in 1998. I have never worn it and it has not been worn by anyone, period. I have kept it in storage for 20 years and I honestly do not have the space to keep it in storage any longer. It is beautiful and very airy and so roomy, but it deserves to be worn and rocked out and I just can't do that. So, I hope it will go to a deserving home. I have gone to a few stores around me where similar dresses are sold and I think the price I have listed it is appropriate, not to mention it's literally a vintage item! I'm not entirely certain about the fabric, but it's quite soft and cottony with a silk feel to it, not entirely satin but not really rough either. Other than that, there is a slit in the back bottom part of the dress and it kind of bunches up, but if it bothers you, it can easily be hemmed (please see photos). Sorry if that is not really helpful, but hope it makes sense! Anyways, if you have any other questions or concerns, please let me know! I can always take more photos or try to elaborate further! Thanks!
