Description: Filzpostkarte [Felt Postcard], designed by Joseph Beuys. Postcard multiple with white screenprinted text and lines, from the open edition published by Edition Staeck, Heidelberg, with 69117 address. 4.2 x 6 inches, and 0.25 inches thick. In near fine condition, with barely any signs of use, age or wear. The original production of these started in 1985; however this example was printed in the 21st century. One of Beuys' most famous works from his prolific postcard series. No two are exactly alike -- the pattern and content of the felt is unique to every individual piece. The lines on this one were printed a bit askew, but that adds to its individuality.
