Description: Joseph Bianchini Cachet FDC #1572 (JB#2) Stagecoach / Truck 9/3/1975 Philadelphia, Pa Horses pulling Stagecoach - 200 Years of Postal Service Joseph Bianchini was an avid FDC collector in the local Bucks County PA area, who designed and produced his own cachet line in very limited production. The Bianchini cachets were produced from 1975 through 1983, for many, but not for every issue. ( Please also note that the Joseph Bianchini cachets continued from 1983 to 1984 as Joseph Cachets, a seperate cachet line. ) These cachets were printed in black & white and hand folded and crafted into covers. Virtually all of his basic issues were produced in quantities of no more than 25 and sometimes as few as 5. Some specialty issues were produced in even smaller quanitities. The FDCs were sold locally at stamp clubs, stamp shows and in some cases traded or gifted by the cachet maker which is why very few of these FDCs are available. Collectors who specialize in individual issues may just now add these cachets to their collections.
