Grows well in full or part sun.Prefers well drained fertile soil Drought tolerant. Great fresh, dried, for baking, jams, jellies, etc. Members of the ribes family (currants, gooseberries and josta berries) of plants prefer to be planted with the root crown 2 or more inches below the surface of the soil.
