Description: This listing is for the Brazilian issue which first published both original cover and story of "Journey into Mystery (1952) #88": (i) 1st full appearance of Odin; (ii) 2nd appearance of Loki, and (iii) 2nd appearance of Balder. It is important to emphasize that Brazilian comics are often "mixes" of multiple editions. This one, called "O Poderoso Thor #9", was published in Brazil in June 1968 by Editora Brasil América Ltda. (Ebal), in regular size, and contains the following issues: "Journey into Mystery (1952) #88, #95 and #99", containing, furthermore, the (i) 1st full appearance of Surtur, a demonic enemy of Thor, and (ii) 1st appearance and origin of Mr. Hyde. I am not a professional grader, but this edition seems to be in very good shape, specially when compared to other Brazilian comics of the same period (Silver Age). It should be noted that preservation is not a strong suit in Brazil, so please check the pictures and the preservation description before buying this comic book. I am located in Brazil and I may look for other Brazilian comics of your interest, upon request. I do combine shipping upon request.
