Description: "Working Just Fine" ... As part of our panel upgrade with the previous owner, they went to a full blown analyzer, and removed it from their Mooney. Since the Mooney is a pressurized system, rather than a gravity system, the transducer is appropriate to pressurized systems. Your avionics person can build a new wiring harness, (or you for experimental) that isn't a problem. You'll need the instructions which you can download from the manufacturer. The K-factor marking on the side of the unit appears to be either 30.59 or 30.54. In communicating with JPI 30.59 actually means the transducer produces 30,590 electronic pulses per gallon. 30.54 means 30,540 pulses per gallon. So, it won’t make any significant difference which you program into the K-Factor 1 location in your Program menu. The Pilot's Guide to your Engine Data Management system should include instructions for ‘fine-tuning’ the K-factor after installation, which can make the flow metering more accurate than even the bench-tested K-factor. Giving someone a great deal with a low starting bid - as I just want it off my shelf.
