Products like pepper and vanilla were added in 1895. He died in 1911. This bottle, 5 1/2 x 1 3/4 inches, may be a liniment bottle from the twenties. At least that’s what other people have suggested. Aliso after looking through old newspapers on Newspapers.com, I found a thank you advertisement from a traveling salesman who sold Watkins products wishing people a Happy New Year and thanking his customers for their patronage.
