Description: FROM MADEIRA WITH LOVE....! Found in an estate liquidation on the island of Madeira in Portugal, that of a retired antiques dealer. Previously used vintage Judaica. A Challah / bread knife fitted with a sterling silver handle and stainless steel serrated blade. A figural handle, securely attached, is in the form of a fish, executed with great detail The handle is stamped 925 on the fin, hollow cast with one side having Hebrew Text incorporated in the design. Both the blade and the handle clearly marked as illustrated. The knife measures 13 inches in length. It has survived prior use in good condition, no dents, damaging abrasions or bends. Some fine use marks may appear when tilted in a strong light, commensurate with age and normal use. The silver purity indicated as 925. No monogram, storage bag or gift box. MUCH OBLIGED
