Shinogizukure, iroi mune, slightly machiokure, chu-kissaki. shallow sori, extended chu kissaki.Hawatare: 2 shaku 0 sun 8 bu 9 rin, (63.3 cm or 24.92"). Motohaba: 3.05 cm. Sakihaba: 1.99 cm. Kasane: 87.04 mm.Gunome togare, tobiyaki, ko nie deki, medium yakidashi, some hard spots in the peaks of the togare, nado. Boshi is suguba with komaru, Very fine itame with jinie, nado.Mounted in American shirasaya with a copper habaki. A clean enough blade that everything is visible, few small stains, and some scratching. The sword can be enjoyed as it is, though a purist would want a new polish.Ref.
