One of his own pieces from his early days in the orchestra. Fantastic condition!! Medium tip opening, long, asymmetrical curve, common with Pyne Signature mouthpiece models. Wide rails. Plays very well with medium strength reeds. Wonderful altissimo. Stamped: Superb oval Frank Kaspar Ann Arbor Mich. Signed Pyne near the bottom of the table. Etched:JP M on the back. No ligature scratches, rails are perfect. No teeth marks. BG cushion on the beak - no teeth marks underneath. Original cork, in excellent condition. Body has dulled a bit due to age. Very Rare piece.
