Description: Highly detailed and painted Northern Pacific F3 type A and B powered N scale KATO diesels. i will point out the paint is applied in two stages. An olive/brown undercoat is airbrushed before the black topcoat which gives these units a lifelike look. Compared to a factory black paint, this is visibly more realistic when compared. The A unit has modified windows with the cab side windows partially open. The A unit also has separately applied grab rails, windshield wipers and sunshades. The lower headlight has been blocked out to replicate some of the early Northern Pacific engines. Ready to run and make an impression at the head end of a long freight train. These are DC models.
