In his honor the extensive funeral complex which important part was made by a number of balbal has been created. The epitaph to Kultegin — a monument to Turkic runic writing of the 8th century — is found in 1889 by N. M. Yadrintsev in the valley Kosho-Tsaydam, on the bank of the Orkhon River (Mongolia). Inscriptions are decoded in 1893 by the Danish scientific professor Wilhelm Tomsen. The monument contains valuable historical data and gives rich linguistic material. Coins are made with use of technology of oxygenating (chemical coloring) of the image on a coin reverse. Obverse: in the central part is the ornamental socket in which internal part the coat of arms of the Republic of Kazakhstan and an inscription "REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN" in a state language and in Russian is located is represented. In the lower part is the inscription "500 TENGHE" designating coin face value; in the top part - a logo of National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan. On a smooth surface is thin ornamental pattern. On perimeter of coins there passes the wide edging on which the inscription "2016" and "Ag 925 31.1g". Reverse: in the center is located relief, oxidized "under a stone", the image of a fragment of a sculpture of the Turkic leader, against the background of a fragment of the runic letter from a stele of the well-known funeral Orkhon complex. The edging is executed in the form of the frame the stone emphasizing figurative communication of a coin with the Orkhon complex.
