Author Biography Benjamin Hall Kennedy was educated at Shrewsbury School and St Johns College, University of Cambridge. He was headmaster of Shrewsbury for thirty years before being elected Regius Professor of Greek at Cambridge. He was a fervent supporter of womens education at Cambridge. The Revised Latin Primer for which he is remembered is a revision of his Public School Latin Primer and seems to have been the work of his daughters, Marion and Julia.
