Description: Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE Offered here is a rare magic lantern slide depicting the shot tower in Somerville, Massachusetts, that was reputed to have made lead shot during the American Revolution. Made by the Keystone View Company. Their number 11682. They also made this photograph as a stereopticon card. This is the only example of the slide that I have ever come across. It is in mint condition, with no flaws or damage. It will be packed very carefully to ensure that it arrives in one piece. Please see my other auctions, as I will be liquidating my American shot manufacturing collection over the next couple of weeks, including rare bags, ephemera, postcards and material culture. Don’t miss this opportunity, as many of these pieces are very hard to find and do not come to market often. I combine on shipping. Email with any questions. Good luck.
