Description: Purchased at auction from an industrial liquidation auction house, I have for sale 2 Kikusui PMX18-2A power supplies, new / open box, for individual sale. This auction is for a single power supply of the two, if you want both, select 2 as your desired quantity when purchasing. These power supplies, while open box, have not been used and the interior factory plastic sleeve is still sealed, as are the sleeves for the power cords and manual with included CD. They are in new and pristine condition and come with the original clear plexiglass front terminal shielding as well as all original packaging and labels. All pictures taken are of 1 unit (SN: JX001934). The other unit is in the same open box / sealed sleeve condition and is in all other ways identical with a sequential serial number of JX001935 with identical 'LOTNO' and 'NO' numbers (LOTNO JB744227 and NO 79728G01). Kikusui is a well known and respected Japanese manufacturer of high quality power supplies, electronic loads, safety testers (HiPots) and a few other instrument types. The PMX power supply series is high accuracy and comes with a number of quite modern features including a built-in web server which allows for monitoring and control of the power supply though its built-in web interface when connected to a network by ethernet (LXI / ethernet port). The PMX18-2A is rated for 18 volts and 2 amps output, with the settings overage to reach up to 18.9V and 2.1A, while the OVP (overvoltage protection) allows setting up to 19.8V and the OCP (overcurrent protection) allows setting up to 2.2A. Voltage accuracy - setting resolution is 1mV, with a setting accuracy of +/- 0.2% of setting and +0.1% of rating. Line regulation is +/- 1mV, load regulation if +/- 2mV, transient response 50us and ripple noise (rms) of 0.5mV. Temperature coefficient (TYP) is rated at 100 ppm / degree C. Current accuracy - setting resolution is 1mA, with a setting accuracy of +/- 0.3% of setting and +0.1% of rating. Line regulation and load regulation are both rated at +/- 5mA, with a ripple noise (rms) of 1mA. Temp coefficient (TYP) for current is 200 ppm / degree C. These power supplies output in either CC or CV (Constant Current or Constant Voltage) mode and have remote sensing function available to more accurately measure delivered power after line losses (requires attaching sensing wires).
