The ink on some has faded slightly and there are a few with slight printing problems or misalignment. The grading and comments are our own opinion and not a “warranty”. Please study the photos closely before bidding on, or buying, any programme Notes of possible interest :-The Kings Theatre in Southsea, Portsmouth, opened in 1907 and was owned by the Portsmouth Theatre Company until 1964. Since then it has been sold 3 times and is now owned by Portsmouth City Council and is leased to the Kings Theatre Trust Ltd, a charity who run the theatre., They restored much of the building, such that it now seats 1600 people, has a computerised booking system and, although the backstage is still fully manual, it can now handle large scale productions (such as “Chicago” and “Grease”) as well as a great variety of professional, touring, amateur and school productions.
