The board is approximately 1.5 to 2 times thicker than a standard rice stand, making it strong and sturdy. The traditional kanna finish by skilled craftsmen makes it excellent in water resistance and durability. Straw is a suitable material for vats Since ancient times, straw has been used for rice stands. The reasons are as follows 1. Its dense grain and minimal shrinkage due to drying make it durable, and its hoop does not easily come off. 2. Because it is lighter than other woods, it is light and easy to handle when used as a rice bowl. 3. It contains moderate oil content, so it drains well and is resistant to water.
