Description: Here is the COMPLETE SET of Series 1 Ultra Action Figures. Have some of you wondered why there seems to be a slight difference in these figures? It’s because McFarlane Toys made 3 different Variants. KISS signed a marketing deal with McFarlane Toys. The deal included the creation of the 31 issue KISS: Psycho Circus comic book series, along with, KISS action figures based on the characters appearing in the comic series. So, in June 1997 McFarlane Toys started with “Series 1” which consisted of 3 different Variant Packages of the 4 KISS characters (Gene Simmons, Peter Criss, Ace Frehley, and Paul Stanley). That’s 12 Figures in different packaging !!!! Variant #1 - In this variant of action figures, each of the band members’ instruments doubles as weaponry and they have their respective Letter stages. K I S S Variant #2 - In this variant of action figures, each of the band members’ instruments doubles as weaponry and their respective Letter has been replaced with a small “Black” vinyl record album. Variant #3 - In this variant of action figures, each of the band members’ instruments doubles as weaponry and their respective Letter has been replaced with a small “Gold” vinyl record album. As you can see, #2 and #3 look similar with the difference being a “Black” or “Gold” record album. This auction is for all 12 Figures. What you see in the Pics are the Item is what you will receive. The Packages are sealed and never opened. Some slight damage to the flaps from storage are shown in the Pics. These are Near-New. Sales are final and no returns. Peter Criss Variant #3 has some compromised sealing around the bottom and top but still 60% sealed and has not been opened. Paul Stanley Variant #2 has some compromised sealing on the side but still 80% sealed and has not been opened. I am the orginal owner and I have had these since 1998.
