Features inlaid mother-of-pearl Double Happiness symbols, birds, and flowers. The box opens up to reveal 2 red felt-lined lacquer drawers. The box is in good pre-owned condition. There is a chip near the bottom on one side as pointed out in the photo, and some very minor scratches/marks. Measures approx. 6.75" W x 3.5" D x 3.5" H Lacquer painting dates back to two thousand years and is very complex in nature. It required 60 to 120 days to complete each painting.
