Description: Two (2) original pieces of cutlery from the restaurant at one of the official German state casinos in 1930's or 1940's Germany: a specially-shaped, wide-bladed knife and an extra-large fork used for serving fish. Both pieces with the words STAATSKASINO deeply engraved in capital letters into their respective handles. The reverse side of each piece is nicely maker-marked ART. KRUPP BERNDORF, with the little bear logo. Excellent condition overall. - the knife weighs 4 oz. (116 grams) and measures 11.5" long (28.5 centimeters). It features the number "4" in incuse relief on the reverse side, along with the number "90" within a circle. - the fork weighs 3.1 oz. (88 grams) and measures 9" long (23 centimeters). It features the number "3" in incuse relief on the reverse side, along with the number "90" within a circle. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE REVERSE SIDE OF EACH PIECE ALSO FEATURES A POST-WAR-ADDED ENHANCEMENT IN THE FORM OF AN "SS-Reich" MARKING.
