They are great subs/replacements for a number of vintage transistors that can get noisy over the years. These will replace the following transistors, among others: 2SA497 2SA628 2SA720 2SA8502SA1013 Many vintage Pioneer, Sansui, Marantz, and other brand receivers and amplifiers will develop transistor issues over the years, and these brand new Onsemi KSA1013s are a great way to fix that.
