Buttery soft, shiny FEMALE RANCH MINK pelts turn this incredibly beautiful coat into a wearable work of art! Classic full-length (fully "let out") very dark MINK COAT. This is a color call MAHOGANY MINK ... it is extremely DARK BROWN, almost BLACK. Modern cut is timeless! BLACKGLAMA is a fur industry designation which lets you know that the coat is made from SUPERIOR QUALITY. This "previously cherished" mink coat will be "in style" for many years to come. The original furrier put a yoke in the upper back which holds gently gathered fur for the coat's back. This beautiful feature gives you more movement room across the back shoulders. Mink is a mid-length fiber fur and valued for it's luxurious softness and shiny lustre. FEMALE MINK pelts are the most sought after for their shine and superior feel. RANCH MINK means that the animals were farm raised. This yields a shorter and softer fur fiber than a wild mink animal. Generously cut arm holes for ease of movement. Long sleeves are full and hang straight to the wrists where they gather into narrow (non-adjustable) cuffs. The classic spread collar can be worn either up or down to suite your mood ... pictures show it both ways! The coat features front furrier's clasp closures and two front "slip-in" pockets. The fur is in EXCELLENT CONDITION ... BUTTERY SOFT and SHINY ... no stiffness, no smells, no tears, no shedding. The solid color (black) lining is spotless ... no stains/no imperfections. The lining has a built-in pocket, inner self-ties to secure the coat when closed as an additional way to keep the cold and wind out. The initials of the original owner are embroidered into the lining, but are difficult to see ... black thread on the black fabric. The only label inside says "BlackGlama" ... there are no original furrier's or store labels. Includes new furrier's garment bag and heavy duty (wide shouldered) coat hanger.
