Ladies Avalon Watch Gold Filled Fahys Montauk RUNNING As Is 1920s

Description: I have up for sale a lovely 1920s Estate Fresh Vintage Original Avalon Watch Co Swiss Made 15 Jewel Manual Wind Ladies Wristwatch with Fahys "Montauk Quality 930" Gold Filled Watch Case. The movement is Swiss and the Case was made in the USA as is the watch band. The case measures approx 24mm. The watch is completely original and As Found . The watch runs and appears to keep good time from the 24 hour time period that I observed. With that said , I still suggest it be serviced by a professional as I do with all estate watches that don't have a service record. The watch winds but has an issue - every few winds the gears must not mesh correctly and you can feel it skip - this needs to be repaired by a professional. The case is a wonderful Fahy "Montauk" which from what I have read means that its Gold Filled . I have no idea what the 930 number references to be honest nor can I find anything about it. From reading on Pocket Watch websites Montauk is always Gold Filled . The band is a very nice Kreisler Quality USA Gold Cont .025 Patent 2064760 . It measures a ladies size 6 as shown on my last pic where its on a sizer. ONLY THROW OUT THE BOXES AND PACKAGING AFTER YOU HAVE INSPECTED THE ITEM OR ITEMS AND FIND NO DAMAGE other than what may be noted in the condition report or shown in the pics. IN THE RARE EVENT YOU RECEIVED THE ITEM AND IT IS DAMAGED -CONTACT ME ASAP - KEEP THE BOX AND ALL PACKAGING MATERIALS JUST AS THE ITEM ARRIVED AS THEY WOULD BE NEEDED TO HELP PROCESS THE INSURANCE CLAIM. YOU WOULD BE REQUIRED TO HELP WITH THE INSURANCE CLAIM . SAVE THE BOX AND ALL PACKAGING ,PICS OF THE OUTER BOX AND INNER BOX , AND OF THE DAMAGED ITEM WOULD BE REQUIRED. WITHOUT THESE PICS, YOU WILL NOT GET A REFUND IF I CAN NOT PROCESS THE CLAIM - YOUR HELP IS REQUIRED. THIS IS PART OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITY WHEN IT COMES TO DAMAGE.
