Description: Here's a large felt pennant, 39.5" long (with the tassels) x 11.5" wide from Marion, Ohio, which celebrated its 100th anniversary on July 2-5, 1922. So now, this is 100 years old. That event became a very special occasion because the sitting U.S. president, Warren G. Harding, (likely with his wife, First Lady Florence), returned to his hometown and became the premier attendee. In fact, we can't come up with another example of a similar occurrence in our nation's history of any particular city. We have two other items from this event for sale in our eBay store, each which pictures President Harding. The metal token which commemorates this event is our item 275666011729, and the souvenir postcard is our item 275666018635. This is in nice condition, but please enlarge our images to judge this for yourself so you can be happy with your purchase. We are members of APIC and sell only authentic presidential (and other collectible) material so buy with confidence. We'll be happy to combine S & H costs on multiple purchases. Shipping on this will be $8.50 first class, carefully packed, with tracking, folled up in a box. And we'll buy the insurance on your package to protect us both. 6755
