Description: This is a Rare Large 1976 Sterling Silver US Mint National Bicentennial 3" Liberty Medal. This Medal is 3" in diameter and weigh 9.4 OZ of .925 Sterling Silver and comes with the original box. The Medal pictured is the one you will receive. This three inch antique finish sterling silver medal was designed by U.S. Mint Chief Engraver Frank Gasparro and features the Statue of Liberty on the obverse and Great Seal of the U.S. on the reverse. The total weight is 9.4 ounces, and the medal is still housed in its original custom box of issue (some light exterior damage to the box). The Redbook lists mintage of only 8824 coins minted. Moreover, many of those were melted during the silver boom of the late 1970's. Most of the items I sell are estate finds, and are presented to you in, as is, as found condition. They are described to the best of my knowledge. Some wear is to be expected, unless described as flawless or mint. I cannot know everything about every item I offer, I do inspect each item and list all known flaws or damage. So please take a good look at the photos and ask questions if need be. If You buy multiple items from my store, YES, I do combine shipping. #B5D/c7 LA0CA 053024 Rose
