Description: This is a Large Antique Footed Pewter Centerpiece Oval Bowl or Jardiniere (#1279) by Just Andersen (1884-1943). Just Andersen began to work for Georg Jensen around 1915, designing many items for the firm. He opened his renowned Pewter Shop in 1918. This is one his larger pieces measuring approximately 12 inches across, 8 inches wide and 5 1/2 inches tall. Excellent condition, original patina I have not cleaned this piece. It got a few light scratches /scuffs and a little tarnish please see photos. An example of this bowl recently sold for $900!! Priced to sell, so get it before its gone!!
