Description: A stunning vintage enameled butterfly brooch, in sterling silver, Thailand, circa 1920's - 1940's. This fabulous piece has been expertly crafted out of 925 sterling silver in the form of a butterfly, with superb green and blue enamel work to the front. The brooch is in very good condition, with a small loss to the enameljust below the head of the butterfly connecting to the wings. Please zoom to see this.. It weighs approximately 9.4 grams and measures 2.5 inches by 1.5 inches . It is hallmarked Siam Sterling (confirmed with testing) and has I think an S in an oval. It appears to be a larger version than some of the others that I have found sold on other sites... A beauty!
