Description: A nice large lidded compote with frosted lion heads on the base and lid by Gillinder & Sons, a well known maker of early American pattern glass in the 1870's through the 1890's. It is approx. 12-1/8" tall, and just under 8" wide. The condition is excellent with no chips, cracks or cloudiness. There are a couple of straw marks on the underside of the base that are not visible from the top. I apologize for the shipping cost but, this will require an oversized box to ship safely.
