Description: Up for sale is a very nice engraving entitled "Groseiller a gros fruit rouge" (translates to red currant). This is from Volume 1 page 272 and is Plate 1 (see photos) from "Traite Des Arbes Fruitiers". B.L. Henriquez is credited with the engraving. This is a fairly large (for 1768) piece and measures approximately 10 x 12 from end of page to end of page. The image itself is in very nice shape with just minor browning / aging. There is a small piece missing from the right corner of the boarder that doesn't come close to the image, irregular edges down the right side where it was removed from the book and some fraying to the left side. All of this should not be visible when framed. In general a mice example of this rare work. Please email with questions and see my store for other great items.
