Made by Fastoria Glass in Fastoria, OH from 1954 to 1965 in the Arlington pattern. The the compote has a very unique swirling open work base. The bowl on this piece has a lovingly ribbed pattern that changes up at the top to a fancy lacy 2 inch high low open cut out geometric design. This design blends mid century modern style with classic elegance that is still fashionable today. A perfect piece for a wedding treat table or a dining room table centerpiece. No matter where you will place it, it will truly stand out. It's no wonder this piece was on the cover of a milk class collector's book. Measure 9 3/4 inches high 9 1/2 inches wide. Condition no damages, no chips, cracks, nicks, crazing, etc. There's only one tiny black spec in the bowl. Non smoking pet-free home.
