Description: Up for sale here is this large vintage Stancor power transformer, probably from the 1930s or 1940s and Made in USA. It is marked Stancor Exact Duplicate but I don't have any more information than that. I tested this, and with a 120v input I tested the secondaries at 660vAC (pair with blue tape), 2.85v (thick pair), 2.85v (pair with tape on them), 5.67v (red pair), 17.22v (either striped wire to other yellow wire), and 14.3v (other striped wire to yellow wire). Transformers usually test a little high when they're not loaded, and the primary is probably rated at 115v, so I am guessing the specs on this are 580vCT, 12.6v, 2.5v, and 2.5v. This had a little mechanical hum at 120v, so you may want to run it a little lower or something. It did work fine though, no problems. This is a nice big transformer, so it should be good for plenty of current. This is used with light to moderate overall wear, and looks really good. It is guaranteed to work for you. This has some great specs and would be awesome for building a tube amp. Please see my pictures for details and dimensions. US shipping and handling is $15. If you have any questions, please ask. I have more transformers and other vintage electronics listed--feel free to take a look!
