(The Original Broadway production opened May 13th, 1954 at the St. James Theatre in New York City and ran for 1061 performances while simultaneously playing on the road. The National Tour opened January 29th, 1955 at the Shubert Theatre in New Haven, Connecticut and ran for more than two years, closing February 16th, 1957 at the Civic Theatre in New Orleans, Louisiana.) .....
