His birthdate is October 29, 1996. He was retired on March 31, 1999. He is a beautiful, velvety brown fabric. His ears, claws and feet are felt. He is the only Beanie Baby that was made with Velcro ( to close his wings). He has black eyes and a brownish/pink nose. VALUABLE RARE ERRORS: - Birthdate is printed in numbers, not spelled out. - No red Beanie Baby stamp on tush tag. This means there was no mass production. - Most valuable bat and has crooked nose. -Rare P.V.C. Pellets used. Only used for 1st edition. After P.E. Pellets were used. - Red star on tush tag- star was never used with P.V.C. pellets. - 2 round certification on tag. - 2 TM symbols on tush tag. - Oakbrook misspelled on tag. Should be Oak Brook. - No comma between Oakbrook and IL on tag. - Fareham, Hants P015 5TX- shows origin - No U. K. after Fareham, Hants. - 1996 TYINC. is in all caps. - The comma after INC., should not be there. -REG. NO PA. 1965(KR). This means it was part of the Korean market- RARE. This collectors item has NEVER been mishandled, played with or displayed. It has been in storage since bought! As a collector, I bought many Beanie Babies in the 90’s.
