This means that if you buy only one increment the fabric piece measures 18" x 21"/22", but multiple quantities are cut off in one continuous length as yardage. This fabric has writing in lines, which run across the width of the fabric. The phrases Peace upon the earth, Blessings of the season, Joy in the hearts of all, and Give the gifts of love, wonder, peace and harmony are only a few of the great sayings included on this fabric. This fabric does NOT have any metallic gold. The first photo is one that the manufacturer or fabric distributor provided. Picture 2 is a scan of the fabric; a ruler is included to show the size. It is "fat" instead of "skinny" like the regular 1/4 yard, which measures 9 x 43-44 inches.
