Each puzzle is true to the original size of their stamp and features two famous Canadian ships. 1.) The Royal William: A Canadian Steam Ship. The first Canadian to cross the Atlantic fully under steam power 2.) The Bluenose: A schooner designed for both cod-fishing and ocean-racing. "Two Ships 147" is engraved, hand polished and hand finished. There is no ink or pigment on the surface, but the puzzle has been electrically anodized to a deep sea blue. The design of the original stamps has been meticulously retraced by hand to capture as much detail as possible, and is paired with our hand drawn rhombus cut.
