Description: From a local estate sale, this is a pre-owned vintage bunny on a nest by LE Smith light purple (very pale) in color. It is two pieces - the bunny (top) and the nest (bottom). The oval nest (bottom) was made to look like a woven basket. This can be used to hold anything - candy, nuts, trinkets, etc.It is made of pressed glass, is unmarked, has one compartment, and has a glossy finish. Most of LE Smith's pieces are not marked. Several glass companies made these from the 1930's through the 1990's. The age of this piece is unknown; however, I believe the previous owner bought it during the 1990's. Condition is excellent no chips, cracks, or crazing; however, there may be some minor roughness on the edges or very light scratches consistent with age and use. Approximate measurement of nest is: 4 ½" long; 3 3/8 inches wide.
