It is the same length as the standard 15 watt glass bulb, and fits completely within the bulb shield of the FeatherweightThis bulb should last for years under normal use. This bulb is safer to install or remove since the LED panels are embedded in silicone; unlike the glass bulbs that can shatter during installation or removal.
