Description: This complete DIY craft kit for a Great Deku Tree-inspired faux terrarium would make a perfect gift for any fan of the Legend of Zelda franchise. The colorful, step-by-step instructions will guide all ages through the process. Ages 14 and up can work fully independently; children under 14 may require help with various steps--baking the clay, painting or paint-mixing, and making sure the tree will fit in the terrarium before baking. The colorful, illustrated step-by-step instructions include close-up photos and tips, learned from my own experience of creating this project with my three sons. The tree is made from Sculpey clay--a very pliable, easy-to-work with clay that doesn't stick to hands or surfaces--and real dried moss. This is oven-bake clay, so children under 14 will need help with that part of the making process. Even young children can make the tree independently, with their own flair and minimal help (aside from baking).
