Description: LEGENDS BRASSThis auction is for a Legends Brass JT STtrumpet mouthpiece.DescriptionThis mouthpiece was inspired by a Dave Stahl Jet-Tone mouthpiece. The rim is pretty narrow but comfortable. The cup is medium shallow, similar to a Bach D. The entrance to the throat is open so it yields plenty of air flow and a nice big sound. Slotting and intonation are excellent with the JT ST. The Legends JT blank is a perfect balance: enough mass to enhance slotting with a big core, but not so much mass that the sound won't sizzle! The rim and cup on the JT ST are identical to the Dave Stahl Jet-Tone, but the throat and backbore have been enhanced to improve endurance, range and sound for the modern player. The JT ST has the Legends enhanced throat (#27), enhanced throat cylinder length, and the Legends S backbore. The original was geared toward upper register lead playing, but the JT ST is well suited for legit, lead, and everything in between!
