Description: This auction is for aLegends Brass MF6trumpet mouthpiece. DescriptionThis mouthpiece is based on a vintage Holton MF6, which was designed for Maynard Ferguson in the early 1970's. He used the MF6 with the Holton ST301 trumpet, around the time he was recording "M.F. Horn 4&5: Live at Jimmy's" and "Chameleon". The inside diameter is very small, about .590". The inside rim is round, as is standard on mouthpieces Maynard played, but it does have bite. The cup is very shallow (similar in depth to Bach F). The shape of the cup is a slightly convex V. The throat is a #19, which is very open. The Legends MF6 has the Legends O backbore, for an open blow.
