Description: LEITZ PRECISION OPTICAL CUBE - 4 SIDED POLYGON - +/- 2 ARC SECOND ACCURACY - MADE IN GERMANY Excellent condition precision cube in a very useful mount configuration: there are two sets of tilt adjustment controls (smaller knurled knobs) allowing precise tilt of the cube around 2 orthogonal axes in the horizontal plane. To use the fine tilt controls the large black plastic knob on the top is loosened slightly. Overall height is about 160mm. The base housing is 72mm in diameter. The round apertures at each cube side are 38mm in diameter. The base housing is bored for close fit on a 40mm diameter post if desired. This unit is heavy and very stable when placed on a flat surface. Factory fitted very sturdy wood storage box for protection along with a leather cover cap to protect the polished and coated mirror surfaces. Will be packed carefully and shipped promptly.
