Description: Leptospermum rotundifolium 'Jervis Bay' Seeds (Round-Leaf Tea Tree) A wonderful garden shrub with a spreading habit, to 6' tall and 12' wide, with small, shiny round leaves. The 1" flowers are mostly deep pink, with the occasional light pink to white, occurring in spring and summer, followed by woody nut-like seed pods. This Australian native is among the best of the Leptospermum species, and has been selected for its large flowers, deep coloration and profusion of blooms. This fast growing shrub has neat foliage, and makes a great screen or feature plant. Best grown in full sun in well-drained soils, though it will also accept seasonal wet feet and drought. An occasional pruning will help keep it in bounds with a nice shape. Hardy zones 9 and above, it is tolerant of an occasional hard frost, with protection for young plants. The plants are deer resistant and the flowers are beloved by bees! One packet contains 30+ freshly harvested seeds. Detailed sowing instructions are included. Please note: The seeds of this variety are small and thread-like, and are fresh and viable - success in their germination is up to you - and will be achieved by carefully following the instructions included with your seeds. Sowing seeds requires cleanliness, practice and patience, and frequently have specific requirements and pretreatments. There is a learning curve. I say this because people generally blame the seeds or the seller for a failure in germination, when, in actuality, it is generally because of the one doing the sowing... With that said, I wish you the best of luck with the seeds, and if you have any questions with getting them started, please feel free to contact me. I've been growing and collecting rare and exotic plants for over 45 years and sowing seeds has been a specialty. Most of the trees and shrubs that are growing in my 4 acre garden have been started from seeds; there is something very satisfying about that. All photos are of plants in my own collection - unless stated otherwise. Please note that the flowers are more pink than is shown in the photo... NO INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING - SORRY - I ONLY SHIP TO THE US. I do combine shipping for multiple items - please request a new shipping total before checking out. Thank you! Upon arrival of the seeds/cutting/plant, if you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me. I want you to be happy with your purchase and to have the greatest success in its cultivation! Thank you for checking out my ebay offerings. Robert
