Description: This vintage gold tone brooch is signed "VO" for the company Les Bernard. Les Bernard was founded in 1963 by Bernard Shapiro, son of Harold Shapiro who founded Vogue Jewelry. Bernard and his partner, Lester Joy, created "Les Bernard" to produce upscale, designer jewelry. The company ceased production in the early 1990s. They were known for the Dynasty TV jewelry collection in the 1980s. (This piece probably dates from the 1980s.) The brooch features shiny black stones in various shapes. It measures 2" by 2 1/4". Very good condition with secure clasp. A nice find!
