Reference #1: identifying Lionel trains identification guide by Tandem Associates: The Toy Train Operating Society Caboose No. 6017 was produced for their 1968 National Convention. Lionel only produced 250 of this car for their convention. Produced on a BLUE Boston & Maine body, the car was heat-stamped in WHITE with the convention information that was designed by Bill Harris. It came with late AAR trucks that has one operating disc coupler. There are no variations.
