Lionel Prewar Standard Gauge Part Headlamp Brass Early Slide On New 1906

Description: I've been able to consolidate my prototyping process with some new tooling into more of a light production. I'm passing the savings on to you. For you consideration: My renditions of early Lionel slide on headlamps manufactured from 1906 - 1910. Some late box version "53's" still had slide on lamps until 1914. Headlamps are natural bright brass finish and will fit engines with either split tab or knife type mountings. Lamp was powered directly through a wire soldered to a rivet lug fiber washer. Three styles include a low flat vent used from 1906 maybe through 1908, somewhere around 1909 they used a 3/16" thick walled square vent that I'm referring to as the tall vent. Around 1910 appeared a 1/8" square thin wall version I'm referring to as the short vent. My lamp bodies use a beveled front lip and the socket depth designed to allow the bulb to gently nestle concealing the base entirely. I've included the lamp contact with attached pigtail. As with the original Lionel headlamps depending on the bulb base length you may need shim behind the fiber washer to tighten against lamp. Headlamp foot is made from .016 - 260 brass and can be properly adjusted for securing to either blade or tab style mounts.
